Our consultations are a minimum of 15 minutes long but, if circumstances differ, we are happy to spend much more time with you and your pet to explain the different options available or to talk you through any test results that are available.
Any consultation will involve taking a detailed history from you regarding your pet’s problem and a thorough clinical examination of your pet. We will then be able to tell you what are the possible causes of your pet’s symptoms and suggest any further diagnostic examinations that may be necessary to confirm our diagnosis or rule out other potential causes.
In some cases we will be able to prescribe and dispense medication immediately to resolve your pet’s symptoms, at other times hospitalization and further testing will be required. If this is the case, we will provide you with an update of your pet’s wellbeing at least every 24 hours.
