A standard vet consultation is one of the most frequent services we provide. A consultation gives you the opportunity to talk to an expert about your pet and any health issues that they may be experiencing.
At Kensington Vet Care, our standard price for a consultation or health check is £69. If your pet requires further investigation or treatment, any additional costs will be clearly explained to you before proceeding.
Subsequent consultations for the same condition may be charged at reduced rates depending on the time required.
The first consultation fee for new clients is reduced by 50%, bringing the cost to £34.50.
A pet check up is a regular appointment that you make in order to maintain their overall health. We recommend bringing your pet in for a health check at least once a year, even if they do not require any vaccinations.

Vaccinations are a crucial part of preventative care, protecting your pet from serious and potentially life-threatening diseases. Here’s a breakdown of the costs for vaccinations at our practice.
Puppies require their first vaccination from the age of 6 weeks and then their second from the age of 10 weeks. The exact schedule is dependent on the vaccine protocol used (please contact the practice for further information). The price of our primary course of vaccinations starts at £44.40.
Kittens require their first vaccination once they are 8 weeks and then can receive their second vaccination from 11 weeks onwards. At our vet, prices for first and second vaccinations start from £42.
Planning to travel abroad with your pet? A rabies vaccination is mandatory for most countries. We offer this service at £75.
We also offer annual booster vaccinations for cats and dogs, so you can ensure their continued protection. Prices are from £69 for cats and from £75 for dogs.
